Just got out of 6days at hospital

It was a tough 6 days. I started getting hospital delirium.

My intestines had been blocked by the high opiad painkillers for too long. I didn't realize I was to take miralax 2x a day with the prescription.

When it got so impacted, it had ileus.

Thank you to friends who sent meals and coconut hydration water.
Love you
Jeni

Dr.Kim called and spoke to us

Dr. Kim, from Stony Brook medical mentioned that for a  chance to survival on this procedure, HIPEC,  I have to eat 1600-1800 calories a day. If I can get my nutrition back up, he will perform the surgery. At least there is still a chance, someone can perform surgery on me, but I need to be stronger. I'm working on eating balanced each day so I can make this happen!

Couple more a drains later but the fluid is becoming less in volume

I went in on Sat to do an early Paracentesis. And I knew they wouldn't have a team ready,  but at least by Monday they should right?! After the fluid was drawn, less than 2000ml, because something else is taking up the space that use to grow there..another 8cm tumor near the stomach walls area. It's displacing the fluid to the left and and bowel activity actually seems to stop there. So there is a blockage tumor, that is on the remaining ovary. I have been here for 4 days now, v let's see if they discharge me today. I could use any help you want to lend, whether it'smaking food, or mowing the yard,  please coordinate with Josh. Thank you friend and family, Love, Jeni

Mother's Day

Feeling pain each day when you wake up is difficult to continuously bear.  I do take pain medicine  but it only lessens the pain. Sharp nerve stingsare still there even with the pain relief. I'm grateful for several family members who have pooled money together to help pay the medical bills..  I'm very blessed that they care and want to try to help. Thank you to all my family. I am trying to stand courageously against this unknown cancer. It is either ovarian or peritoneal cancer. Still unsure after 10months, 10 treatments, and 1 surgery. Continue to fight, that's what my inner voice tells me.
